BMI frequent flyer post-takeover

Does anyone have any idea what I can expect to happen to my frequent flyer miles and how quickly will it happen now that the BA takeover has been finalised?

I have enough built up for a midhaul flight and I don't want to lose that on conversion to another airline's frequent flyer programme, either BA or Lufthansa.

BA's takover has not been finalised. They are still awaiting regulatory approval. It may yet not happen, but if it does, nothing will likely change until the end of next year.

Even though Lufthansa bought BMI a couple of years back there were no announcements made about what would happen to Diamond Club.

There isn't any news and the deal hasn't been finalised or been approved yet.
