Taking it on plane should not be an issue - normally.

Do check voltage, and amperage, for use at your destination, if traveling internationally.

I am quite certain that you can fly with hairdryers in the cabin, however I'd recommend you don't use it, even though it might be allowed in the toilets. Better to ask the cabin crew or airport staff
