Vidanta Timeshare Owners; value of Hawaii Collection

Got an upgrade with Vidanta timeshare last month.

One amenity was free paid membership - basic level for a year.

Representative called me last week-- for a "discounted" fee of $5000-- I can get extra benefits as a platinum member. (regular platinum rate is a one time fee of $6000)

Representative will call me tomorrow- having said I can take or leave the offer of the discounted platinum membership.

Your thoughts?

I've been to Vidanta time share presentations and find they are the most aggressive of any TS pitches i've even seen. To me they are a total rip off but you can do what you want but the endless offers to 'upgrade' will always be there
