We met Suzie, who owns the place and does the cooking - and her daughter, Brenda, who was serving. Very friendly people. And a simple menu, not very complicated. My friend had the build-your-own omelette, and she said it was the best omelette she's ever...had. I had a combination of french toast and pancakes. The pancakes were simply amazing and the french toast was fine. Perhaps I should have stuck with the pancakes. I had a side of bacon, cooked perfectly. A little small for a side, but it was good. And we got a nice slice of local colour as well - this place is popular in Meaford and Suzie seems to know everyone. I would say it is a must visit for breakfast in Meaford. And the "sausage" and "eggs" signage on the washrooms? Too cute!More

Good food. A little greasy. Absolutely worth it. We will be going back next time we are in town. Hostess was very welcoming.

Haven't been there in a few years and returned for lunch. I had the corned beef on rye...it was very cold in the middle which I would have preferred it to be warm...would ask for a little longer in the heating process, however, it was...quite nice. The soup was amazing! (like as hamberger soup with tomatoes, celery, rotini) Hubby had the Western sandwich, which was stacked and full of chopped peppers and onions and the Onion rings which were delicious. Would return again when in the area. They close a 2:00pm and stop serving at 1:30 incase you were considering dinnerMore

I had French toast with dark bread, perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and forked a few delicious home fries from my husband's plate. New fav place for Sunday morning breakfast.

Visited this establishment with family....the waitress did a sterling job and all our food was ordered on time, I didn’t tip the lady as I footed the bill for everyone, shame no one from my party tipped her....I am so ashamed, why I ask myself...why?!More

we live in Meaford and have many places to eat breakfast. Suzie's prepares a good breakfast at a fair price. The staff are very pleasant and we enjoy the food there.

I've been twice because I like to see things differently the second time...perhaps change my mind but it is dirty and outdated. Food is boring. It seems like a hub of the same "old"er people.

A group of about 10 of us stopped at Suzie's Place for Breakfast. I think we sampled all that was on the menu. The whole group had nothing but praise for their meals and seemed to be the highlight of the day. Without a doubt...we will be returning customersMore
