My husband and I and my son and his girlfriend had a great experience at Ted's tonight. Service was friendly and helpful. Food was phenomenal. Elk, alligator schnitzel, kangaroo medallions, blackened trout with fruit chutney and roast beef with yorkshire. Be sure to sample the...rosti potato. Fab night in a relaxed unique environment. Highly recommend.More

hello, my name is Cindy, my husband and I went to teds for the first time last night and it was spectacular! We had the trout and the sea bass and I’ve never tasted anything greater. Our server Jenna was so bubbly and helpful with...the food choices and made the visit that much greater. Amazing staff and amazing food would recommend to anyone and look forward to going back!More

The elk steak was too tough to cut or chew. The baked potato was hard. The Cheesy Chicken was bland. Of the 4 meals we ordered, 3 were hardly touched. A novelty restaurant only.

My husband and I absolutely love Teds. We basically visit Meaford just to come here. We’ve had crocodile, bison, kangaroo, elk, mushroom (seafood) caps and bruschetta. Every single thing we’ve had has been so delicious!! We look forward to this every year! Can’t wait to...come back!!More

We were always big fans of Ted's until today, when my husband and his friend rode for 2 hours with the intention of having dinner at Ted's. They arrived just prior to 5pm to a COMPLETELY EMPTY restaurant, when they were "greeted" by a woman...working there who asked if they had a reservation. They did not. She said sorry, they were booked and they would have to leave. Although disappointed they said 'OK, could they just have a beer?" Again, she said 'No. She was too busy.' The restaurant was EMPTY. Really?? For 2 loyal riders? They could have poured the beer themselves. NOT IMPRESSED TED'S.More

We were staying at the Falls Inn and ventured out on a whim. We loved the concept, the structure and the food. A variety of local and exotic meats prepared well, presented well and tasting even better. The service was attentive and friendly. Someone looking...for gilded service would give this a miss bit that would be a big mistake. We'll done Ted et al!More

I have not been to this place for years and we were trying to throw together a work get together for the holidays and quickly. I called and they can hold up to 70 people, so if you have a crowd that large and you...reserve in advance Ted's can make it happen. It is definetly quirky and out of the way but for sure worth going. The menu is on chalk boards all over the walls and they have some amazing tasty dishes with a huge variety for a small place. Great service, never felt rushed and very personable service. There were 20 of us and everyone loved their dinner. Drink, prime rib and desert $55 We had a great time and I am going to plan in advance for next holiday season!! Check them out on facebook, they have jam nights so if you want a bit of entertainment give them a try on that night.More

After a day in blue mountain my girlfriend and I decided to get away from the commercial village and see where we could find that would genuinely surprise us! And I must say this is the place forsure. In fact it has to be one...of the top 5 places I've ate in Canada! You pull up to the restaurant seemingly in the middle of nowhere to find what most may say look like a old gas station. You walk in and there are chalk boards with the menu all over the place combined with a cozy cottage feel. In the spirit of getting out of our comfort zone we decided on croc, kangaroo and bison. I must say that it was all fantastic! Flavor for days! We were so satisfied that we didn't want it to end so we also had a slice of peanut butter fudge and I didn't think you could top what we just ate but wow! Do yourself a favor and definitely check this place out! Can't wait to go back! P. S we were fortunate enough to have a table for us becuase we went early but it's highly recommended that you make a reservation! And don't worry it's definitely worth it. P. P. S the service was fantastic friendly and personable. This all made for a memorable visit!More

This quirky out of the way spot was so unexpected and far from glam, but the food and service and atmosphere were all awesome and if you haven't been there, you need to go. No need to dress up, but go hungry and you will...leave satisfied and glad you went. Can't wait to return.More

Love this little joint! Special place! The menu is a collection of chalk boards that spans the entire restaurant! It’s an experience just choosing what you want to eat!! It’s incredible! I choose the “white crab claw meat wrapped in king prawns and bacon and...cooked in a garlic oil” OMG yes please your honour! And all this topped of with a local band cracking on in the corner! Superb! Bravo you guys! Please go here..... you’re welcome!More
