This little eatery has some of the best Italian food I have eaten in a very long time. A mixed group of vegetarian & meat eaters & everyone was blown away! If you are anywhere near this place it's a must stop. A perfect way...to end a wine tour. We will be back soon.More

Enjoyed the street-side patio on a lovely July evening. Service is friendly, food is awesome. We stopped for a drink the day before and the aromas reaching us from the next table enticed us to return for a full meal. The Calamari are perfect. I’d...never had them served whole like this, cook just right with the lightest, tastiest breading. Pasta mains were delicious, seafood and boar ragout. Table-side visit from personable Chef Fran capped the evening off nicely. I recommend enthusiastically.More

Definitely worth the drive up from the Blue Mountain area. Menu is on a blackboard. Interesting choices among the standards. Our favourites were the duck risotto and the figs with gorgonzola appetizer. Recommend that you phone for reservations. They also need to improve their website.

First time for my husband and I at this restaurant, others in our party had been before. The food was flavourful, portion size was huge, service was excellent - Cook Fran was amazing. Hope to return and try many more dishes. The Chicken parmigiana was...to die for. Gnocchi with Carmalized onions and squash was amazing. Excellent food.More

Dined alone this occasion and have visited before. The venue is sparsely appointed with a bit of a mixed bag of chairs matching tables and lack of table menus opting instead for a chalk board listing various tempting meals. My young server was very attentive...and was helpful in explaining the dinner options instead of having to stand in the middle of the restaurant room to read the menu board. My Caprese salad was fantastic and very plentiful and fresh as was the big plate of Rigatoni that followed. The Peroni beer was cold a refreshing and the house wine was a perfect matched to the tasty and savoury and rich tomato sauce. The homemade bread was superb and unfortunately I had no room left for dessert save for a wonderful cappuccino. Looking forward to my next visit!More

This little piece of heaven is tucked away unassumingly in downtown Meaford. The window say Butcher Shop (because that's what it used to be). It's small and cozy and WONDERFUL! Incredible pastas, incredible bread, incredible vibe - a true Italian experience. Very chill and very...very good. Looking forward to attending a Sunday night live music experience here!More

When I phoned for reservations it went to an answering machine. The message said if you want to reserve just “leave a message with date and number of people and we’ll write it in the book”. I also left my phone number. When we arrived...at the restaurant there was no table available. When I phoned the restaurant to complain they said oh we are so busy. Too busy to phone the customer and let them know that the restaurant was full. Obviously they don’t care about potential customers.More

This is our go to place on Thursday or Friday nights. The food is always amazing, service outstanding. We love how it reminds us dinning in small family run restaurants in Italy. The wine served in the little glass tumblers instead of wine glasses, the...handmade focaccia bread with oil for dipping are two if our favourite things. Reminds us of our travels in Italy. The atmosphere and coziness always makes us feel welcome. If you are expecting the frills of a chain restaurant you are going to be disappointed. The staff is small so sometimes you need to bring patience which again is like dining in Italy where eating is never rushed. Gio and Fran have managed to recreate an authentic Italian experience in Meaford.More
