Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stopped here for some food on a long journey across the country.
There was a carvery on offer which had a chicken stew and sweet chilli salmon. Both were nice if served a bit nonchalantly.

Have a nice carvery set up. Wasn't sure what to eat and the very friendly young lady (English accent?) pointed me in the direction of the lamb burger...….. I went with it and some chips and gravy. Great choice as it was FANTASTIC. I usually go for beef burgers or ham, but the lamb burger was a night surprise for me here......
Got a nice pint of Smithwick's, and enjoyed my meal as the hurling was on.
Mixed crowd, of old and young, families etc, and a respectable trade was going on.
Good food, good beer, decent crowd in and friendly service, that's all the boxes ticked
