Having a walk on the beach bright sunshine qwhen a squall wipped up and soaked us to the skin, time for a warm and food. Inside to Sammys we went, it was very busy as it was Sunday lunch, as we were chilled we ordered...soup, toasties, and grandaughter sausage & mash. My Chowder had huge chucks of fish in and was just brilliant, the sausage mash was just great for the little one and vanished very quickly. The staff were nice and friendly, great end to a very cold downpour.More

Scones mid-morning were tasty and fresh. Mask protocols did not inspire confidence…staff member pulling down her mask to respond to my questions about menu and then proceeding to dealing with food order without cleansing hands. COVID protocols don’t seem to be understood!

The layout is so poor, queued for ages to order food, got a toasted special .. it was awful, bairly toasted and stuck to the plate it was so soggy. Filling was mostly over ripe tomatoes it was worst ever and too expensive at 12...euro. After we finished lunch we fancied a cup of coffee, I went to the bar to get coffee and was told I had to join the back of the queue outside the cafe to get coffees. It's an absolute farce... coffee van set up outside and it was closed on the busiest day and the warmest day. They really haven't a clue how to run the business properly. It's such a pity, a really lovely place has been ruined by its new owners. Easily known its been run by a corporate company .. it has lost its charm completely.More

Was fine, kind of knew going in it would be just fine, tad expensive but sure you didn't have much choice elsewhere so warranted I suppose. Got fish and chips with mushy peas, grand did the job. Not much choice around. Feeds you after a...day at the beach.More

The location of this place is fantastic but since the Kilkenny Group took it over from the previous family owners, it has lost its soul & local, friendly feel. Add to that at the height of the summer season they still don’t serve food on...Mondays🙄, opening hours are limited, no cream for desserts in the cafe etc etc. I could go on but overall, it was a sad day when Sammys became “corporate”More

Evening meals, wholesome honest to goodness. Lunches the same and varied catering for all nutrition specifics. Service outstanding. Leave a tip, the staff work very hard to cater for every taste.

We camped nearby and had a delicious fish & chips by the sea one evening. Food was hot, tasty and the guy who delivers the drinks was so friendly and helpful. Would recommend for anyone visiting inch beach to go for a pint and some...food here. The dessert range they had in the cafe looked delicious too!More
