Al Lago is kind of fine dining restaurant located inside Hotel Salisko serves nice food. Service is excellent.

This restaurant is attached to hotel Solisko. It has a limited menu, but there should be ample for a stay of a few days. It has a mix of Italian food (pizza and pasta) and traditional Slovak fare. Staff pretty nice, nice views, good location, quality food! The pizza was a little off but still pretty good! The waiting time is a little long though… Overall a very good dinner!

Although the food was good, we found this restaurant a bit expensive. The grilled fish was excellent (14 euros, this was ok) but my partner had the stuffed chicken breast, and got just one small chicken breast cut in half, on a bed of sweet...potato purée and this for 17 euros! We were lucky we had ordered the only starter on the menu, burrata (an Italian delicious cheese) with rocket and cherry tomatoes, but again it was 9 euros.... the wine was good, though, so all in all, we ate well but it was rather poor value for money.More

We stopped by for coffee it was very good and we also order Salted Caramel pancakes, the best we ever had it was tasty, wish it was a little bigger. The service was good.

They had the best fish course - Grilled Sea Beam I have had in my whole European trip in summer 2018. Felt so lucky to be in this restaurant with all our friends while we spent two days in Strbske Pleso. Besides Sea beam, Lamb...Knuckle Confit is also a must-try. Their dark chocolate and Vienna Coffee are so lovely that you would keep on asking your companions ordering these drinks together with you because you will feel guilty for not sharing your experience with them.More

We went for dinner. Food: grilled seabream with side dish grilled vegetables. Tuna steak covered with sesame coating and served with two grill tiger prawns. Both dishes were taste good Dessert: tiramisu --- delicious! Must try Service: only one waiter, so be patient.

We stayed at the hotel where this restaurant was located so decided to try it for dinner one night. It is a fairly large restaurant with views of the lake and a large children’s play area in a separate room. Service was on the slow...side and not particularily friendly. We found the prices to be on the high side for drinks, beer and wine. The food was okay, nothing spectacular but fine for what it was. We ate in some other restaurants during our stay which were much more reasonably priced and very good, so look around when you are in this town, as every restaurant displays their menu on the door. It’s not that we didn’t like this restaurant, it’s just that we got better service and cheaper, really good meals at other places. I think that you are paying more for the view and the location.More

Had lunch here after we being turned away at the pretentious Kempinski Hotel ! The lake and mountain views are terrific and the food is pretty good. Being right on the lake probably influences the prices, but it is well worth a visit. The Saris..."dark" beer is good Guinness substitute !More
