Christmas Eve family dinner at Himchuli was a great experience for the entire family. The vegetarians were well catered for and the obliging and friendly service was very appreciated. Delicious Nepalese food enjoyed by all.

Wonderful service, great breads, lots of variety and the sizzling fish entrée is perfect. A place to visit any evening for a cheap dinner.

Wow, so long we have been searching for an authentic Indian restaurant following our travels in India and Nepal a few years ago - to find Himchuli nestled in Brighton. We had takeaway Lamb Momo's, Butter Chicken, yellow dhal, Eggplant Potato Curry, Garlic Naan and Naan stuffed with spiced lamb. The curry's are laden with vegetables and meat and the... More

I visited for what I now consider the nicest Indian I've tried in Brighton. To start we shared a tandoori platter, with chicken tikka masala, a vegetarian main, rice and naan for mains. It was all delicious, fresh, well presented and executed. The only downside was the slowness of the kitchen. Poor guy serving on his own was a bit... More

A little taste of India in suburban Brighton. Beautiful food, great service and full stomachs for under $20.00 a head. Do yourself a flavour (and favour)!!

New owners so I guess there are always teething problems. Staff are good but no smiles happening here. The Chicken Tika and the Barra Kebab are both 5/5 Not too greasy or fatty and just enough spice and not over cooked. The Raita and Onion Kulcha are also really great. I would definitely go back for these. The Butter chicken was... More

I often order from menu for takeaway here. I love the buttered chicken and korma dishes. This restaurant took over from Cedar Tree which had been there for decades, but Himchuli seems to be continuing the establishment with consistently good food.
