Witch's Cauldron is certainly not what it used to be. We've been so many times over the years and never had a bad meal until tonight. The service was still good but the prices have become exorbitant and the portion sizes have decreased quite dramatically. For example, 2 tiny slices of ciabatta loaf constitute one serve of garlic bread (not... More

I don't believe the restaurant is as good as it use to be - haven't been there for years and found the meal was okay but certainly not excellent and overall reasonably expensive. Would I go back there again .,,, probably not.

Five of us booked a booth for an enjoyable dinner, but the staff need better training - I ordered a pot of tea only to find that they had forgotten the tea spoon, and despite my comment on this faux pas, nothing was done. I had to use the handle of the tea strainer to stir my tea after I... More

Very disappointing evening. The food was average at best, the so called famous Garlic Prawns (at $5 per prawn!!!) were tough and rubbery, the garlic was raw and in large chunks, the bread to soak up the juices was such a small portion and not all that appealing. Main courses followed along the same lines, the fish was on the... More

My family and friends have been regulars at this restaurant for over 40 years. Last night our party of 4 went to enjoy or favourites ie Garlic prawns, garlic bread, catch of the day with menier sauce and pepper steak. The only dish still being served in its original version was the garlic prawns. They were delicious. Unfortunately the garlic bread... More

Sad to say that our meal at Witch's Cauldron was disappointing. With memories of many years enjoying sizzling garlic prawns with a basket of fresh crusty bread we ordered an entree size for my husband and I was indulging in the prawns as my main. We had been advised that the prawns were expensive as they were WA grown and... More

We had my husband's 50th birthday celebration here and could not have been happier with the way the excellent staff executed all our food and drink orders with all the requests flying back and forth. The food quality didn't suffer either. And this must be the last good eatery in town that doesn't charge cakeage - how refreshing! They lit... More

I am sorry to say that after dinner this Saturday I will not be coming back to the Witches Cauldron again which is such a shame as it has been our favorite place to go for dinner for years. Service, although friendly was lacking, menus were left on our table food given at varying times and had to go inside... More

I was a bit apprehensive after reading quite a few negative reviews on here but needn't have worried. We had been told about this place by my partners Dad, he raved about the garlic and chili prawns for so long we had to check it out. I booked the table online a nice simple process, I requested a booth (not... More
