Billy knows how a business should be run! He and his staff are always friendly and pleasant. The superb coffees, fresh juices, wines and food. We stayed 2 weeks in Bondi and my husband and I both love this place. Locals abound so that was the first hint we stumbled on something special. After arriving on a long flight from... More

I'm a BONDI local who has the choice of every cafe place available, and i gotta share with you a locals secret, this is a wonderful place to be, GREAT service, if you pop in a few times the owner Billy is going to know your coffee order before you even sit down. I normally get over there for an... More

I have been a regular visitor for over ten years and now it is an annual pilgrimage. It is the excellent coffee, great views, and friendliness of staff and customers that really make the place. Billy is a legend and one can just about forgive his rather blinkered support of Manchester United. Couple with an early morning walk to Bronte... More

Went there with my brother as it was our first time in Bondi and we had travelled from Scotland. Billy made us more than welcome, and the food was terrific too! Highly recommend this place. Especially for first time visitors and anyone who wants to experience the real Aussie banter.

Took my newly married son and daughter in law to Wet Cafe for a casual summer's dinner. The view down across the beach, particularly as the sun goes down is sensational. The food has got better and there are only two choices of the reds and whites and lots of beer choices but Billy the owner pours very well and... More

We stopped at Billy's for breakfast, coffee and dinner and couldn't have been happier. The food was delicious and portions were large. All of the staff was hospitable and we enjoyed talking with them all. Billy was knowledgable about local activities and very personable. The view alone should bring you back to enjoy the local flavours. This is obviously a... More

Place to eat dinner in Bondi come in two varieties. Club food and very expensive food. Well priced dinner spots where you can eat outside looking over the beautiful Bondi Beach at sunset are even rarer. Wet, coffee shop by day, dinner spot for the last few days of the week is that. At $20 a main and a limited... More

Staying in Bondi Beach

Neighbourhood Profile
Bondi Beach
An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.
