We really enjoyed our meal in this lovely restaurant in such a beautiful setting. Staff were very polite and were very helpful and we would happily return. We spoke to people staying who spoke very highly of the accommodation.

So last night we decided to try again as t is nice food and it wasnt that far to travel, we got there around... More

But, after ordering steak pie for lunch I then waited over 30 minutes for the food to arrive and the pub wasn't busy enough to justify the wait. The dish arrived smothered in gravy yet when cutting in to it the... More

We had the special deal, bed, breakfast and evening meal which was excellent value. Meals were very good and the Buffett prepared for the family wake was very well presented and excellent value.

We have been to a number of hotels in this group...as with the others the food was of good quality and staff friendly. Unfortunately the room we were in (room 10) was the smallest hotel room we have ever been in and was certainly not one photographed for thier website. The young member of staff who showed us to the... More

After a climb up and down Roseberry Topping we stopped at the Kings Head for lunch, The pub was bright and vibrant, and seemed very popular. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was very good. The menu was extensive with lots to choose from, I had the Chicken Parmo (a north-eastern speciality) and my partner had... Recently refurbished and sitting beneath the iconic Roseberry Topping – Cleveland’s ‘Matterhorn of the North’ – this charming inn with bedrooms is wrapped around by the North York Moors National Park, the Cleveland Way and is close to Yorkshire’s seaside gems of Staithes, Whitby and Scarborough, The King’s Head Inn is just a short drive from Redcar, Middlesbrough and the Tees Valley, too.

If you’re looking for bedrooms in North Yorkshire then The King’s Head Inn offers bed and breakfast accommodation that’s more characterful and a great alternative to traditional hotel stays and more service than simply self-catering.

A popular spot for walkers and cyclists, you don’t have to have scaled the ‘Topping’ to deserve a well-earned glass of Yorkshire’s finest and the chance to enjoy The King’s Head Inn’s superb home-cooked food.
