Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From start to finish everything was brilliant. The scallops and Parma ham dish was cooked to perfection. There was a beautiful open fire which made for a really cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend a visit and I will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a gem! TL;DR. I cannot fault it at all. It was amazing all round in food and service! Very talented chefs! The menu had multiple choices & even offered the starter as a main menu portion. I had the goats cheese &...caramelised onion crostini with salad which was very generous in size! The goats cheese was light & mild and the caramelised onion sung. The rest of my table had a mushroom & chicken risotto, another crostini like me, & a vegetarian chickpea curry which I had a taste of. The curry was also sublime! With delicate but punchy & well balanced flavours it was again generously sized & came with rice. We had cocktails from an extensive menu, & both these & the food were plated beautifully. The food very quickly! I really cannot fault the service or the food at all! We were very full after the big portions but we managed to squeeze in 2 desserts to share. The tiramisu rivalled even the ones I've had in Italy, & the white chocolate & raspberry tart was perfectly baked & oozed flavour til the last crumb! (as did the sorbet which we fought over!) I am incredibly impressed! Our waitress was very attentive and kind. One of the two chefs, Maria Dunne came out to say hello as we passed on our compliments. Her passion & talent shines through in the restaurant, not only in the food's flavour & presentation, but in the friendly atmosphere & wonderful staff. There is real talent at this restaurant & it was a pleasure to eat at. I will most definitely be back! 10/10.More
