We went there because we found it in travel book. Restaurant looks really nice, the waitress speaks English. Dishes really good, but we have eaten better. A little bit too greasy for my taste. Gnocchi were the best, pasta with ragu also, but the rest of it not very exceptional. Cheese plate was our the best choice. Good local wine.

We stopped here for lunch before we started wandering around Arqua'. The two of us shared the vegetarian appetizer - it was certainly generous enough for two. Then we had the ravioli and the lasagne. My companion enjoyed the zucca ravioli but felt it was a bit too oily. My lasagne was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the... More

Located in the very centre of the medieval borgo Arquà Petrarca, Osteria Al Guerriero is worth taking a detour. The menu is simple and consists entirely of homecooked regional recipes. All dishes, from baccalà mantecato to polenta and donkey stew, seem to originate from no more than three ingredients, but the richness of the flavours makes this a virtue. Pasta... More

As a previous reviewer remarked; there was no menu, but the owner explained all the meal options to us. She was witty and very friendly. We had a wonderful meal; I can recommend the Squash and mushroom lasagne - heaven on a plate. We only intended to have two courses but succumbed to the deserts when we saw how well... More

This is a lovely place to be: such a quaint little village up on a hill with cobblestones. This little Osteria offers interesting local and unusual food of the season. There wasn't a menu, but the friendly waitress explained everything to us in English. For example we ate a delicious starter, then a local speciality of raw fish (which I... More

Interesting place in the center of the Village, in front of the main church, the food is really nice, the owner is involved in selecting ingredients and materials, only season food, fresh and well combined. The masterpiece of the place to me is Pasticcio Onion, delicious even if the place is suitable for couples.. Candle light!

Just a small drive away from Venice, this charming old town Arquàpetrarca has this very nice osteria with very nice antipasti and bigger meal dishes (homemade gnocchi!) and very friendly staff. The house wine is also a good choice and the fireplace must add to the charm during the cold months.

This is a nice little place in Arqua Petrarca, for quick lunch, the apetizer where wonderful and fleshly made. I highly recommend this lovely little Ossetia!

We loved our two evenings at the Osteria - the food was excellent and the atmosphere delightful. All the staff take the time to explain each dish and ensure that your questions are answered. Nina is a delightful host and her wine suggestions are amazing. She enjoys providing her guests with a delicious experience ! A very reasonable and interesting... More

We've LOVED the meals we have eaten at this Osteria! The chef is creative, designing a new menu each day, based upon what goods are available, so everything is so fresh! The owner serves as head waitress and give excellent suggestions for food pairings and wines! We even stopped in one night, just for a late-night drink, and she was... More
