I ordered a sushi take away at the restaurant but I was extremely disappointed in the preparation, taste of the food and the price as well. If you are going to charge that much then it should be real quality food. I was about to stop the order but I thought I could give it a chance..I was however correct... More

Such a stunning place. A perfect setting. Welcoming hosts. The next time I am in South Africa, we will be returning for a longer stay - highly recommend this Lodge.

On arrival, the employees were chilling outside the store and only came inside after we had waited a while. Unprofessional Service We order hake and chips, R60, definitely not worth it for the portion size. Worst of all the chips had an odour resembling that of petrol or diesel and were hard as hell. We went back to return the... More

For starters we ordered the crab samoosas. We read a very good review about them but was a bit dissapointed. Dry and nothing to rave about. For mains we ordered two fish, calamari and chip combo's. The mains were delicious and the services was fast. The portions were big and value for money. It was a hot day and our... More

All we wanted was fish and chips to eat on the beach. Service was unfriendly kitchen had flies sitting on open batter containers. Should have left but stupidly ordered. Worst fish ever, part was raw, the rest "pap" and floury. Chips chewy and tasteless. Total waste of money will never recommend.

Very good atmosphere and lekker seafood! Definitely worth it to try the calamari and prawns! The cocktails also were not to bad. The view and sunset is the best part!!

Four of us went to Oystercatcher on Wednesday 9 Sept for sushi. When we arrived the new manager / owner, an elderly gent with pink hair and glasses, was seated with 4 other guests at the only table occupied in the restaurant. We took a table opposite them and waited. After 5 mins we started browsing for menus. When we... More

A wonderful place to share a bottle of wine and watch the hours fly by. The food is good although a bit on the pricey side and sometimes takes a bit long to get to you. Depending on the staff compliment you end up looking for waiters to get something for you - not very attentive but worth checking them... More

I made a reservation 5 days ahead of the planned Sunday visit to the restaurant and when I wanted to leave my phone number besides my name, I was told that it was definitely in order, not to worry. On the Sunday, where opening times advertised on the door were from 10am to 4 pm. we arrived at 11.45am, just... More
