Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took the trip up in gondola. Kids said this was favourite part of our trip to lapland! It felt like we were really in the north pole up here. We went on a cloudy day where we couldnt even see the cafe nevermind amy views. But this all added to the experience. The cafe was covered in snow amd barely visible. We had to find the entrance and the kids were enthralled. It was quiet inside in November. It was so cosy and quaint. We had some hot chocolates and doughnuts and the kids said it was the best they ever had. It was an experience to repeat. So relaxing and different and away from it all setting.

We visited 718 after a trip up on the gondola, what a lovely little cafe, with a warm and cosy atmosphere.
the day we visited was the coldest of our trip to Lapland, and the sadly the visibility was poor.
Highly recommend a visit Yllaskammi 718

This is a really cosy place to warm up for a while. The kids enjoyed the donuts, parents the range of drinks and the apple turnovers. It really is very charming. The lady who served us was very pleasant and quietly welcoming. It's all about the location of course.

Very cosy pub/resto on top of the Ylläs fell. You can just take the funicular to go up and have a drink or burger and go down again.

After a ride on the gondola to the top - a delicious hot chocolate awaited us in this amazing building covered in snow! It was freezing at the top but it was a clear day and the views were beautiful. Thoroughly recommend a trip.

Nice and cozy place to warm yourself up if you've gotten cold in the slopes of Ylläs.
Not so BIG, but it just makes the atmosphere more like in your own living room with fireplace. Staff is friendly and you will definitely find your own drink to warm up. Might and most likely is packed with people on HIGH season, but other times you might have the whole place for yourself.
Specialty is the possibility buy your OWN guksi to be left on the wall's of the Café. It will be always ready and waiting for you and then you don't have to drink your Mint-hot-chocolate from plastic cup.

Quaint cafe at the top of the mountain, with reasonably priced and delicious hot chocolate. Accessible via gondola and can ski down the other side of the mountain.

Small place with fireplace and simple food and something to drink. Place has no view since it is a ”kammi” but the view from outside is of course spectacular

Staying in Yllas we decided to go up the ski slopes, even though we weren't skiing, for a trip on the Gondola. This is about €30 & well worth the trip for the views alone. Once at the top we found this fantastic little log cabin cafe/bar.
It's lovely & traditional, open log fire, moose head hanging on the wall, great snacks, chips, cake, tea, coffee, beer etc. Very friendly staff. Had an enjoyable few hours and were thrilled to have found this little traditional style bar, well worth the Gondola trip up.

Great pastries and the hot chocolate is to die for, especially after skiing. We were in the clouds when we were there but I imagine the views are spectacular on a clear day.
