The food was nice but pretty much every meal had the same tzatziki and vegetables to the main dish. Also I have to say that it is extremely expensive for what it is and the portuon sizes. I know you cant compare prices to other countries but the equivalent meal in Greece would be a fraction of the price. A... More

Very lively and nice outdoor summer restaurant (Indoor serving during the rest of the year). You must be prepared to wait for both service and food when crowded. However, good food even though nothing extraordinary. Good for families and also welcoming dogs to sit under the table!

I've been here twice and haven't been disappointed. The dishes are traditional Greek as you get them at restaurants outside Greece, that is, bifteki, souvlaki, etc. At any rate, it's well cooked and very tasty. Appetizers are great and service is OK.

Having been disappointed in our accommodations at the Herrgard, we went to this restaurant on a beautiful evening, sat outside, had a wonderful pizza and Gin & Tonic.

I'm from Strangnas (easy to remember if you think about it as Strangeness), so I could be slightly biased. However, after visiting Grekisk Taverna for years, and seen it developing from a slightly standard pizza place to the lovely Greek restaurant by the waterfront that it is today, it is a place I feel I must visit every time I'm... After a terrible experience at Gripsholms Värdshus in Mariefred, we decided to stop in Strängnäs för dessert/coffee and, for one of the party, a couple of beers. We chose the outdoor seating area of Grekiska Taverna and sat down. The desserts were delicious, the coffee fabulous (the beer was beer, so he was happy) and the service was fast and... More

Three of us dined here on a fine summer's evening. Nice selection of starters, with a strong Greek theme. We all went for Pizza's as mains, and everyone was happy. The main seating area (that evening) is open-air in front of the dockside, with the food coming from the actual restaurant across a small street. They had english menus, and... More

Down by the water, nice Greek food. Not so many desserts to choose from, but the meat, fish and pizza are great. Lots of people sunny afternoons/evenings, very busy.
