We made last minute plans for a brunch on a Sunday. We drove from Ottawa with 2 guests visiting from Toronto. Knowing absolutely nothing about your restaurant, we were truly impressed by how cozy it was, classy, beautiful views and quality food - it exceeded our expectations. Our visit was on Family Day long weekend. We have no suggestions to... More

We chose Les Fougeres because it was a special occasion and we wanted to try the restaurant post renovation. We were delighted with the ambiance, the service, and the food. It was perfect. I had the scallop dish and it was heavenly. The food, the atmosphere, the service added up to a wonderful experience.

This restaurant does everything well. The service is attentive; the atmosphere is pleasant (with a view out into the lighted forest); the menu is inventive. We had the duck and the Mouth of the St. Lawrence seafood dish - both were very good. All in all, a very good choice and worth the drive to Chelsea, Quebec.

We were two couples celebrating a special event, had a reservation and had a lovely dining experience. We were warmly greeted and comfortably seated in a modern room with a Scandinavian ambience, near great windows overlooking the floodlit edge of the forest with smooth sweeping snowbanks in the foreground...magical! The menu had something for each of the four of us..one... More

Very nice restaurant in a rural area... We came for second time for our wedding anniversary and the experience was as special as the first time. We took the St-Valentine table d'hôte beginning with the lobster bisque, then a delicious piece of squash with ham and fruits, then the famous main plate of confit de canard (duck) with a base... My family and I had brunch at Les Fougères Sunday January 29th. The ambiance is very quaint with a beautiful views of the mountains and trees filled with snow. The food was delicious and all 7 of us enjoyed our meals. I had the Eggs Benedict and had no problems having the ham replaced by bacon (asked for it crispy... More

This was our first time at Les Fougères since their renovations. The new space is truly stunning. We were there on a very snowy night and the beautiful interior and the falling snow lit up outside the large windows was magical. Even better was the food. Three of our party had the table d'hôte with wine pairings and declared it... More

The place is a overload of charm an character, simple sophistication, current, cozy and beautiful. The large windows face an intimate landscape, we had dinner in this cold winter night, overlooking the big flakes of snow falling down outside over well lit trees. Excellent service, dishes are served on a slow pace allowing for a good conversation in between. The... More

Very good place, outstanding staff, nice ambiance and plenty of natural light. In the same building, a little shop that sells all kind of little gems like spices and confitures...very nice. An outstanding wine list. Me to the waiter (nice fellow and knowledgeable about the place). How big is the $26.00 cold meat and cheese platter? Him ''Pretty big''. Already,... More
