It was our wedding anniversary and the staff put us on a beautiful table at the window overlooking the bay. The staff were fantastic & couldn't be more helpful. My hubby had the pork belly & he said it was the best he ever had, I had the scallops & they were Devine. Generous portion sizes for the mains, which... More

Saturday lunch and the restaurant is packed: first lesson - remember to book! Tables by the window are crammed together but there is a bit more room further back and you still enjoy a fairly good view of the bay and coastline. Service was a bit hesitant to start but warmed up as the meal progressed. The Fish and Chips... More

One of the best positioned restaurants in Melbourne. A gorgeous view out the window of Half Moon Bay and great food and wine to enjoy it with. The staff are wonderful, attentive, friendly and know their menu well. The atmosphere is perfect.

Meal was excellent and the service too. Our waiter was very pleasant and clearly explained the details and content of the various items on the Specials Board. Meal served was fish and chips...so fresh and delicious and nice and hot too. Desserts range was good. Nice home made ice cream. Would recommend it BUT you need to pay for parking... More

My wife and I had dinner here and had a really nice time. The food was delicious (we shared the seafood plater) and service very friendly. It’s a cosy little restaurant with beautiful views. Only disappointment was that I requested a window seat as it was our wedding anniversary but unfortunately didn’t get one. Was told I need to book... More

The food was excellent - we had the fish and chips which were super fresh and cooked to perfection with a side of mushy peas a nice added bonus. The staff were helpful and super friendly. Sitting in front of the open window and looking out over the bay must be one of the nicest ways to spend a November... More

I have had their fish n chips as a takeaway before, so this time we decided to eat upstairs. Whata a view of the old shipwreck and surrounding beach area. Just divine and almost surreal. Had the soft shell crabs and couldn't resist their fresh fish n chips again. Do yourselves a favour inner city people. Take a ride to... More

Upstairs in the old boathouse is a spacious room with a bar tucked into one corner. Our table was against the windows, and fortunately the overcast protected us from the sun shining across from the You Yangs on the other side of Port Phillip Bay. A few hardy yachtsmen struggled against a strengthening wind against the backdrop of the wreck... More

Interesting menu with attentive, friendly staff. The view is great and parking is good provided it is not a hot summer night
