A really lovely atmosphere, great food and friendly helpful staff. Good value too! Especially liked the tiny broad beans and the artichokes. Loved it’

We got there following TripAdvisor recommendations as the one we were looking for was closed for vacations! We were gladly surprised by the menu with lots of vegetable choices. Artichokes were just delicious and croquettes superb! The wine they recommend was also very good and...inexpensive! A place for informal or formal dinner with many things to share. We'll definitely returnMore

Best food in La Granja and a very good service! Menu is short, but the quality of the dishes were amazing: Pencas con jamón, rabo de toro, atún... delicious! A bit chilly though.

We visited this restaurant because it was listed (then) as Number One in La Granja on TripAdvisor. We were welcomed at the bar and shown to our table in a room to the back. Because we were just two, like in most restaurants, we were...directed to a table in the middle of the room (not always the best place to be when people move about). The menu is reasonably simple (good sign) with good choices, though a slightly on the pricey side. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal but were not so enamored by the surroundings. The dinning room had a feel of the Alps about it (which may be nice in winter but not in summer) and was empty bar one other table (which was disconcerting). We will go back but our expectations were a little let down after reading it was No. 1 in La Granja.More

Discreet exterior, simple interior - and exemplary food. Whilst the menu is fairly short, what they do, they do well, every dish delivered. Very good, professional yet friendly service. Wouldn't hesitate to either return or recommend

We had dinner at El Habito con a friday night and having arrived very early had no trouble finding a table. The food and wine were excellent, paricularly the croquetas, carrilleras and the fried artichoke. Very reasonably priced too.

The menu is very simple but pretty much everything we've tried was great! We ended up going there for dinner both on a Friday and Saturday night. Highly recommended

We went to El Habito because we wanted authentic Spanish food and were reassured when the very good Tripadvisor reviews were in Spanish. We have tried a number of restaurants on this stay and 2 previous visits to La Granja and can honestly say we...enjoyed this one best. We were happy to accept the recommendations from Diego, who speaks excellent English. All the dishes (Croquettes, Pork, Beef, Beans, Postres) were very tasty and nothing was left over. House wine was excellent and bill very reasonable. If we come back to La Granja this one is definitely on the list !More
