We've passed by Highland grounds on several occasions in the past but hadn't taken the time to stop in. We fixed that by taking the time in late September and again yesterday to stop in a grab a quick bite to go. Two things... They...take their COVID protocols seriously in that "what is expected of people" coming in to visit them is well placed and easy to read. In addition, the protocols that stuff in the store/bakery are using themselves. Top-notch as compared to other bakeries and places similar have used. Secondly, their simple take-out offerings are both tasty and reasonably priced. I've twice I've had the daily soup and both times it was excellent. They also sell a variety of ground and unground coffee and a huge selection of tea. In addition, there is also a large selection of other notions for sale as well. It was also a pleasant surprise to see children's book by a local author I taught school yet prominently on display and for sale. Stop in if you're in the area. Worth it...... believe me. We'll be back for sure.More

What a great coffee and deli shop. The service is way above par and the food is great. The best blueberry muffins, according to me and friends, anywhere. This is one place you definitely need to stop at.

I 've stopped by this fine place quite a few times in the past 6 yrs and i've found it to be one of the best places. The staff have always been friendly , the prices are among the best I know and the quantity...served is more than ample. My favourite is the carrot cake which is of the highest quality & standard and i've sampled many others (chocolate cake looks wonderful also). Lovely choice of most things needed plus a colourful environment Washroom facilities are extremely clean & tidy. What more could you want?More

While travelling through Flesherton we decided to stop at this cafe which we had passed many times previously. It was a delightful find, featuring interesting arts and crafts displayed on the walls and elsewhere, and a very interesting if eclectic atmosphere. Our coffee and sweet...breads were excellent. The washrooms were spotless.More

Driving through Flesherton on the way to Blue Mountain and came upon this great place. Fair trade coffee was delicious. Delicious baked goods and our sandwiches were made on homemade bread. Will definitely be back next time we’re travelling this way.

Preparation takes a while and don't expect any discount if you ask them to hold the meat...so take some time and enjoy the eats...

This place deserves the highest rating for the large portions, excellent coffee and the best date squares in the world. We had a very satisfying lunch for a modest price. the staff are most welcoming.

My wife and I stopped in on Victoria Day as it was one of a very few restaurants open in Flesherton that day. We loved the local artists' work for sale hanging on the walls and were quite taken by a few of them. Natalie...and Megan (sp?) were charming and helpful. The pulled pork sandwich was literally the best I have ever had! Sweet bun, spicy sauce, generous amounts of pork - it was perfect. We would happily visit again the next time we're in the area.More

I really like the vibes in this restaurant, it’s a safe place, there are lots of cool things to check out. They support amazing local artists and it’s m definitely worth checking out. I find I like there building and atmosphere more than their food...or drinks. Their baked goods always taste like they have been sitting out for a few days. I almost always regret when I get a muffin because they look so good and big, however they are always dry and crumbly. I really wish they would start having fresher products because it would increase my likelihood of stopping in.More
