We stopped here for a coffee during a training-ride. Although we were politely notified that it is usually not allowed to bring bikes into the café the staff was happy to bend the rules a little bit so that we would not have to worry...about the safety of our precious bikes. The boss of the place was happy to accommodate our request and proudly told us about his own ambitions and successes in cycling while we enjoyed a splendid espresso and a glass of wine! We left rejuvenated and with smiles on our faces. Well at least that is how we imagined our stay to turn out. In reality we had to argue with the staff about our bikes for minutes until they finally agreed to let us put them in the foyer where we could at least keep an eye on them through the window. About 15 minutes later the owner of the place showed up and unleashed a firework of rudeness bordering on assault. Like a threatened gorilla he made sure that we understand that the Marina Cafe is his property and that his rules are the only thing that matters there. And rule number one and two are: no bikes. We paid and left chuckling about this little adventure. It is such a shame, because the location would otherwise be ideal with great views and admittedly great coffee! We visited this place during our mototrip. Go to this place just on your luxury car and last-fashion outfit. Without this, you ll be disappointed.

This beautiful place is located right next to the cycling area. You can stop by just for the coffee break or for some long drinks. They serve nice coffee and a wide scale of fresh made lemonades. The atmosphere is great while enjoying the river....You can get there by bike, car or boat. Staff is friendly and quick. If you want to eat, they don´t have much to offer, just some snacks, but everything is always fresh. This is one of my most favorite places around Bratislava.More

Very nice and elegant cafe located on the ponton at the Danube river. Popular spot among locals and boat owners. They serve various cocktails and drinks. Try cucumber ginger lemonade.

Very trendy cafe floating on river Danube offers nice sitting place with views of Danubiana and "lužné lesy" around. The capacity of place is limited so it might happen that there would not be a place to sit. if you have a boat this problem...can be solved that you can park your boat at the restaurant and enjoy its cafe, fresh drinks or smoothieMore
