I was here last night with friends and we had a great time. My haloumi tacos were great. The portions are small but fortunately the staff informed us of this while we were ordering. The service was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend and I'll be back next time I'm in Sydney!

After walking around Newtown to find a place for dinner we decided to go Mexican and choose this place. I ordered the Jalapeños Poppers and a Pulled Pork Burrito. The Poppers were very oily which made it impossible to finish. Then the Pulled Pork Burrito arrived in aluminium wrap with a few corn chips on the side. I got into... More

I had a great Haloumi taco and encountered friendly staff with great music playing in the background on a rainy weekday. I was pleasantly surprised by the Tuesday specials. I'll be back!

We got there as they were closing- bummer, as I would have loved to try the Sangria. Staff were very friendly and obliging- packing food into a nicely presented take away bag and box. We ate outside- the verdict- excellent Mexican food at a reasonable price. Not sure that onion rings are Mexican but they were excellent too. Keen to... More

Was so disappointed by our meal at beach burrito company. We had Californian burritos. They were fairly bland when it comes to flavour. The chips inside were undercooked and completely flavourless. At over $50 for two burritos one onion rings and one beer we found it quite expensive for what it was. We won't be back.

Been coming here for a few years now and still consistently good. Only criticism is can be very loud (music that is). Great burritos and such - much more Tex Mex than Mexican. Recent change in decor don't think has worked as well however the kitchen still works to the recipes - reminds me of fast food down slow and... More

The venue is well themed mixing mexican icons with a punk influence. Plenty of seating available inside and out. Prices are fair, service is standard. Would go again would recommend.

Don't you hate it when you complain to the wait staff about a dish and they say it's "the style"? This restaurant is in a hero location, right opposite Newtown railway station on a little plaza that always has interesting entertainment / busking going on. The night we were there was Morris dancers (look it up - it's fun) and... More

We took three kids out for dinner and the bill was $150. Nachos was made with slow cooked beef and was pretty yum. The prawns and ceviche were ok but not great. The tacos were the best value. Also a litre of sangria for $30 comes with a double serve of churros (even though it was over cooked). Friday nights... More
