Newtown Thai is our favorite Thai in newtown, with the best prices going. Pad see ew with chilli, red/green/panga get curries are great. Able to eat in or take away.

You cant really go wrong here for a quick meal; decent Thai food freshly prepared at reasonable prices. We ate here a couple of times; one of them on New Years Day when many other places were closed. It was over full, but the friendly boss lady said if we waited 5 minutes she would rearrange tables so they could... More

Dropped in for an early meal in this small nicely run restaurant. Friendly staff, freshly prepared food and good size meals. Liked menu choice having most dishes Aussies will look for. Food prepared quickly. Impressed with the Paradise Prawns entree. Value cheap eats.

We tried soup and the other meal once, the soup was excellent. However, the tast of other food wasn't match with us, t was sweet, but we should ask before ordering, though. It was my mistake that didn't like sweet food. The service was good, although it was busy night.

We had to seat ourselves and the restaurant is cramped with tables on top of each other. Food was delivered very quickly. The chil basil chicken was ok but the massaman curry was revolting with big chunks of gristly meat -we had to leave most of it. Needless to say, we wont be back.

Ordered dinner and the food was pathetic, and the service was really bad. The waitress was rude and lease customer friendly who kept screaming while I was eating my food. With food way below average, and service so pathetic, I would never go back and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone even if this was the last place serving... More

Ordered the Lunch Special of Rice and Stir Fried Veges with seafood. Bad service was partly due to how busy it was, and also because the number of staff seemed to be inadequate.

Decided to have lunch here today and was a bit disappointed. Sat down and and waived at the waitress who then decided to ignore us for 5 minutes, even though the place was not busy. Noticed that this also happened to another couple that came in. Food was OK but don't think I will go back.

We eat here often and love it! We usually order: pad see ew, red curry and a large rice which we share. Pricing is great perfect for a good budget meal. Enjoy!!

Had dinner here with some mates, it's a very busy spot so you will definitely want to book if you have the chance. The service was lightning fast, and the food was decent, probably above average when compared with most Thai places. It was very well priced though, so on balance, it's a good option for a meal.
