I recently visited here with a friend for afternoon tea, after eating here a couple of times previously, and had been very impressed. Although it was nice, £40 for two afternoon teas is very expensive for what you get. I have been to other places where the cost is half and food is just as nice. For myself, and my... More

We have eaten here on a few occasions and it doesn't disappoint. Make sure to book a table because they fill up fast! They are closed on a Sunday and Monday. The à la Carte Menu is varied with some great fish dishes! My husband loved the Mussels and I I loved the Cod. It has a great ambience helped... More

It is unfortunate that we only booked in for one night! From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. We were shown to and around our room 'driftwood' - a fabulously well appointed and generously sized room with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel + extra touches. After unpacking we went down to the bar -... More

Five friends visited for an early lunch , well greeted , prompt and efficient ,an excellent wine list with listings from a vineyard some 12 miles away. We had a five year-old with us and he was well looked after by the staff. Lovely surroundings log fire and a well laid out restournant

Took the family for a weekday dinner. Warm welcome, toasty fire and a fine selection of drinks. A big bowl a fantastic Menai muscles to share as a starter while the vegetarian daughter had a great mushroom starter. A variety of mains from Ribeye steak (rare and superb) to a ladies size fish and chips (still substantial), all were excellent.... More

Wonderful afternoon tea. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a choice of different teas to drink, Sandwidges, savoury tart and delicious cakes. We will definitely visit again.

Simply stunning meal with family and friends. Net busting cod was fantastic, little one who is a bit fussy opted for a plain burger and devoured the lot. We finished with the chocolate torte and cheese board. Lovely afternoon out which we hope to repeat very soon. A must visit venue

We spent an overnight stay in one of the luxurious suites with dinner and breakfast and are completely bowled over with the wonderful experience - everything was outstanding. The owners clearly know how to go the extra mile and have created a unique place to getaway and enjoy gourmet food and we can't wait to go back - check out... More
