Ratings and reviews

Certificate of Excellence2015 - 2018 Winner
Licenced Café Bistro & Bistro by Night. With a complete renovation and new menu the current proprietors of the Lantern have truly shaken off its old 'chip shop cafe' persona. Though staple favourites, that have become so popular, remain the menu has been updated to include a range of cosmopolitan lunchtime and evening meals plus all day snacks. The Cafe was situated next to the lock gates from the Basin to the floating Harbour of Glasson Marina. The staff were helpful, friendly and obviously enjoyed being hospitable. The Cafe is clean and bright. The food we had was perfect a real welcome lunch.
