We visited this cafe as part of a coffee tour. We learned about the various types of coffee and how to make a perfect cup. We then returned on our own for more coffee and a visit. The cafe is charming and the owners are...lovely and accommodating.More

Café Floresta is one of the only true gems we found in Pijao. It is a family run farm and the family explains all the different types of coffee and provides a tasting for 20000cop. It was a welcome break in a rainy day. Only...downside is we bought coffee to support the family and one bag costs 70000cop. Pretty outrageous for coffee in the area.More

We originally went to Pijao to go to another cafe, to just enjoy a cup of coffee. But we found La Floresta, thinking it was just going to be another cafe. Instead, it was an educational and immersive coffee experience, where we learned about the...3 different types of coffee they make, what makes their coffee different from the mass produced beans, and got to sample all three for a very, very reasonable price. The owner was incredibly kind and obviously passionate about his work. So happy we found this place!More

I took a tour with Carlos. We learned about collecting the coffee beans and the preparation process. I tasted excellent Colombian coffee with courteous guidance. Interesting and recommended! Delicious and high quality!

The kindness of the owners, but especially their passion for their project. Coffe, most importantly, it's flavourful and just delicious.

The owner (Arturo) is a coffee grower and prepares a wide variety of coffees in many different ways. Tip: Order a "chemex", and you'll have the best two cups of coffee of your life.
