Called for a quick sausage bap: ok but not the quality of sausage that used to be. Not been for a while but suspect new management. Place fairly grotty and the extractor fans where not used. Would go back? No, not really.

Popped in for brunch. Great friendly service and food at reasonable price. Worth a visit a little hidden in historic square. Will return.

Lovely clean cafe, the staff were so welcoming and smiled when servicing. Gave you the feeling that no job was too small if you wanted it. We have a lovely peaceful lunch before a big walk. Thank you

I can't quite see where the "bistro" fits in because this is really just a (pleasant enough) cafe. We were walking in the area and stopped for lunch. The cafe is in a good location and is attractive both outside and in. Although the menu offers basic cafe food, the portions are good and the service very friendly.

Food was ok ordered breakfast to take out was simple and ok. Was very over priced paid £0.90 for a can of Fanta! Would go back if desperate but wouldn't go out my way.

We recently visited this welcoming little cafe with our two nephew's aged 7 and 4. The cafe is perfect for little ones with toys and books to keep the children occupied. Food was nice, traditional full english available and generous portion sizes. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommended for pleasant hearty food.

Excellent food well served and immaculately clean. A cafe with charm and personality, and, prices that are realistic, in fact on the low side of realistic. You are made to feel very welcome even when soaking wet from the Derbyshire drizzle.

Lovely cafe, very welcoming, reasonable prices. Nice and cosy. We just had a quick pit stop here for tea and cake and was not disappointed.
