It it sure not the cheapest place to eat, which suggests quality of ingredients and labour are over the average. And it is true. We have tried other local restaurants, but this one is definetely the best. We do also have a dog, but do...not travel with it, and agree that it does not belong to a restaurant. Owners are from own experience not very friendly with animals and wild children, but welcomed this behaviour as to eat in peace. But still during season, there are problems with drunken customers and such, so be prepared.More

Owner of the restaurant is the most unfriendly person ever. Do not enter if you have a dog, she hates animals and we were almost fired as guests. I have never experienced something like this before.

I was recommemded (being celiac) this place for gluten free traditional dishes. I didnt even have a chance to try it because we were refused to enter the terrace of the restaurant cause of our little dog. Like really? 21st century?

Amazing bryndzove halusky! I love bryndzove halusky and i am very picky about them, but these were great, just like they have to be. They have a lot of different variations of halusky but we went with the classic ones. The service was great. We...got medovina on the house, which was very nice! Really recommend this place!More

I often make a mistake to order bryndzove halusky because it's my favorite dish and I am leaving most of restaurants disappointed. Not this case, it was simply best halusky I had in any slovak restaurant, this is how I imagine demonstration of national food...to tourist, I'll be confident to bring any foreign friend of mine to this restaurant. My wife and kids had sweet potato dumplings, it was tasty as well, service was friendly and polite despite of fully booked restaurant at that time, I'll be back for sure when I will visit Terchova again.More

Great pirohy, the best potato pancakes,weird bacon + good but pretty large soups. Would really recommend ordering the aforementioned pirohy, halušky and zemiakové placky.

Food here is average,like in other nearby restaurants, but what today get us pissed up, was a fee we noticed in the bill: extra fee for empty plate. We have 2 kids and restaurant does not have kids portions. So we ordered 1 meal for...them and asked for empty plate to divide the portion for them. And they charged us for washing the plate! Ok, they have the fee in price list,but on the last page where you dont notice it. But sorry - charging for this???.. never will come again. Also, in price list on last page they have "rules" like dont allow your kids to move, dont comment our restaurant on social networks. Very sad.More

We had an excellent meal here, two of us Halušky (traditional with bacon only and then combination with sausage, bacon and smoked cheese). They were really tasty and bacon was crispy, without too much fat pured over it. Also children enjoyed their meals, chicken breast...worh Hermelin (cheese) and chicken schnitzel. All portions were decent sizes. Very friendly and quick service. Nice environment. We have few more says here and will come back for lunch.More

Prices are not reasonable, you can eat Halušky cheaper in Terchová Also the portions are not enough.

We've tried traditional salty and sweet Slovak dishes in Haluškáreň. Food was delicious. However, comments written on the menu list (for instance: -our customer is not our master so behave accordingly, -don't complain on our prices, if you don't like it you can go elsewhere)...are bit rude and made me feel bit uncomfortable. The young lady who served us was really nice though and we also got welcome drink for free.More

Příjemný podnik s nabídkou halušek, ale i dalších jídel. Rychlé vydání jídla a velmi příjemná obsluha. Halušky nad cenovým průměrem v Terchové. Objednali jsme si Furmanské halušky a kapustnicu. Jídla syté a dobré. Very nice restaurant offering halušky as well as another dishes. No wait...for the meal, very quick service and friendly nice staff. The price of halušky is higher than the average in Terchová. We ordered Furmanské halušky and cabbage soup. Big portions and very good taste.More

We have visited this place more than once in a couple of days we spend in Terchova and it was all the time amazing experience. The kitchen is very traditional and tasty, you don't need to wait too long and even if you can explore...the place which is filled with a couple of interesting historical pictures of skiing and hiking in the past.More
