This panoramic restaurant, located right on the intersection of the main bridge, today served with the formula "fixed price buffet 13 € per person". The buffet included little choice but all good: salmon and potato soup, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, boiled potatoes mixed raw vegetables; also included in the price is water, coffee, tea, bread and dessert. Nice view of the canal and bridge that you can see from the window or terrace, friendly staff, parking possibilities nearby.

Rather good pizza but why hide the taste of the tomato sauce with extra cheese. If you advertise restaurants own sauce it would be nice to taste it. Otherwise good pizza

Cozy restaurant with friendly service and tasty food. We ate a halloumi salad as an appetizer and perch as a main course. Both can be recommended.

We had lunch here and the weather was amazing and so was the views from the outdoor terrace. The food wasn’t expensive and the staff was very nice.

We sat on the terrace on a sunny July evening, enjoying the view to the bay. We had some rose wine and only shared a pizza, as this was more of an evening snack for us. Service was excellent as was the pizza, and from what we heard from the nearby tables so were the other dishes. Would return if in Kristiinankaupunki again.

Yesterday we ate at Jungmans for the 3rd time this summer, and we were just as happy each time. The pizzas are very good (I love the Peach Chick), the lemon pasta with shrimp was divine and the lime pannacotta was so tasty, just to mention a few dishes. The service is very friendly and the restaurant itself nicely decorated and tidy. This isn't a fast food restaurant though, so take your time.

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful; simply the best food anywhere! The menu
is diverse and the 3 times we were there each entree was sumptuous. Great innovative chefs; the fettucine was the best I've ever tasted - even in Italy! The steak
with cognac sauce and root vegetables is fabulous. Beautiful water view; great location and wonderful service. A great destination restaurant if anyone is visiting
the coast of Finland. Try the pannacotta dessert!

Had a mediumrare steak with potatoes and nicely fried vegetables, onions, carrots. The gravy was tasty and the red wine to this was Malbec from Chile. The sceenery down by the waterfront in Kristinestad is great. I can recommend this place for any time of the day.

Excellent food and service. All dishes available as gluten free. Ordered a gluten free shrimp sandwich. The server noticed the kitchen had accidentally made one with gluten, and switched it out for the right one. Main dish, perch, was delicious. Good atmosphere, maybe a tiny bit kitschy, but I liked it.

As one enters Kristiinankaupunki across the road bridge one cannot fail to spot the Jungman cafe, restaurant to the left hand side. The setting is perfect with fine views across the sea through the large floor to ceiling windows and when the weather permits there is a long terrace where one can enjoy fresh air, sunshine and refreshment. The interior is furnished in fine Scandinavian fashion and the staff could not have been more helpful and discreet. The menu, although not extensive, has everything to satisfy most diners and our order was taken calmly and efficiently and the food was delivered, well presented in a very brief space of time.
Kristiinankaupunki is a short diversion off the main north-south highway along Finland's west coast but a location for tourists to take a well-deserved quiet and peaceful break.

I've had lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Great view from the restaurant, clean and in good condition. The food is not that good in my opinion. I cannot have one grading in most countries and other gradings in countries that lack good restaurants... The pizza had a weird cheese that was hard and did not taste like mozzarella. They had pored some sweetened balsamic vinegar on it that made it taste really weird like sweet and sauer sauce or something. The lunch was not at all my cup of tea. It is one out of two restaurants that are descent in the area but they are not up to par for a pass grade especially considering the price.

The restaurant has an excellent location by the sea and in the town centre. Food was of good quality, and the service was friendly, but there was quite a long waiting time so be prepared for some waiting if you decide to eat here.

We fell in love with Jungman :)
Before going further, you must notice that this place is not a fast food chain. If you visit with a hungry stomach, you will run out of patience because they take time to prepare the food (I'm talking about half to one hour long).
For us it didn't matter, because we already have late lunch beforehand in Gastro and we only did a little walk around the beautiful city. So we did enjoy the ambience of the restaurant while waiting for our food to come.
Jungman located by the beach, nearby the bridge, right in front if the city centre. It's 5 minutes walking from Krepelin Hotel.
The wooden beach house is modernized with glass panel windows which warm up the entire restaurant despite the cold windy day in this summer.
We ordered hamburger, cesar salad, some fish plates and scallops. All food were great, especially with the pretty scenery to the sea and bridge. The cesar salad was pretty basic, but the chicken on top of the cesar salad was something else, it's a great addition to the salad. Food arrangement is close to fine dining style, but price were pretty decent overall.
