A bit outside the city but on a nice place close to the sea. Very nice service in this summer restaurant and a nice atmosphere in this old building, was before a yachting club. Food was good, big plates with nice steaks and moderate prices. Service was ecxellent ! Thanksfor a nice summer evening.

Nice place to eat with the family. Buffet was very good and the price was low (12 euros/adult and children pay by age)
Definitely will go there again!

We went to see was this any good ´cause the Tripadvisor said this ok.
So we order sheep hamburg. Never have been eating this kind before. Bur it was great we loved it.
Service was better than normal Finnish restaurant.
This is the place you should go.

The members of the small-yacht club associated with this wonderful pavilion restaurant must be as proud as they are lucky. A beautiful building, in a wonderful setting by the water, superb food and very friendly staff - it simply do not get any better than this. Our visit was the highlight of our trip to Finland. We stumbled upon the place while visiting Kristinestad and its "Öppna portar" event one evening and were back for lunch the day after. A great place!

Pavis Kristinestad is an old sailing pavilion, which serves as a summer restaurant 2,5 km from the idyllic small town Kristinestad. I had a tasty lunch to a reasonable price at the restaurant in fantastic surroundings with a view over the sea. The staff was friendly.

This is one of the standard place to visit for me when in the area. I would advise to ask for the chef's recommendations for the day ad he/she may have something special - like fish dishes we had a couple of weeks ago - very good indeed. If you are a wine lover, the selection offered is not the greatest, but the options were of quality though.
And the location could not be any better - right by the water with in the company of the local sailing boat club.

The most lovely location in Kristinestad, very nicely decorated terrace, friendly service. You can arrive by car or by boat. Although it would be important to know where to leave the boat when visiting.
The quality of the food varies too much and often reminds of a school cafe. Please make more fresh, interesting portions made of fish, salads and vegetables. Forget the thick sauces. For example a portion of white fish and crepes with mushroom mousse would have been most lovely - without a thick, yellow sauce that made it like a plate of porridge. Please also update your Fb and www pages regularly about what is going on. How about a sunday brunch next summer? You could easily be THE restaurant of the town with a little freshening up.

This being a water front resturant offered a great view of Kristinestad harbor, that said, it was all downhill from there. I would reccomend the plac for drinks on the terrace and little more. The lunch was just plain awful with stale bread and dry over cooked veal for starters.

What I like absolutely most about this summer restaurant is the beautiful location by the sea. The house is a cozy wooden house where you have a great view. The food is good and has a reasonable price and you get service in both swedish, finnish and english (and maybe more languages - these were the ones we used).
A lovely place to go on a summer's evening!

The food very good, the presentation of the dishes very beautiful and very helpful staff.
The price is very accessible considering the type of restaurant.
The highest point of the restaurant are the views to the sea!
