How is Leap Inn Restaurant & B&B rated?

We were looking for a warm Irish ☘️ welcome with some tasty local seafood and The Leap Inn certainly met our criteria! The staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful. The fresh prawns and haddock that we had had literally just been delivered by...the fishmonger and were delicious! The proprietress/chef came and spoke with us and then gave us some tourist maps to help us on our way as we’re touring western Ireland. 🇮🇪 Highly recommended and well worth a visit! 😊More

We miss The Leap Inn!!!!!!

We highly recommend The Leap Inn when it opens pending Covid guidelines. After a long winter and an unprecedented pandemic we desperately need the warm welcome and excellent food from The Leap Inn! I think we've all come to cherish the importance of supporting local/...community based businesses and we cannot think of a more wonderful and missed local bar/restaurant that we are so looking forward to experiencing soon again. A worthwhile leap into The Leap Inn.

We ate here two nights in a row while on a recent stay near Leap. The restaurant was well prepared to receive diners during the present Covid19 restrictions currently in operation. The tables were well spaced out and our servers were helpful and considerate. We...particularly enjoyed the seafood on the menu, given that we were in an area famous for fresh fish and seafood. There was a dish of the day, salmon and mussels, which was particularly tasty and a really delicious prawn and avocado salad, one of the best I have ever tasted. We were also very impressed by the owner who came over to chat to us. The portions are very generous and represent excellent value for money. We look forward to returning some time soon!More

Lunch

Beautiful food, presented beautifully. Waitress was very pleasant while being efficient. Happy that I did not order coffee as my husband's was burnt and bitter. A pity because our sandwiches were delicious. Rebecca

Delicious, fresh and great value

Absolutely delicious fresh fish and chips and scampi. The salmon is also a favorite and the welcome from all at The Leap Inn is priceless! We look forward to many more wonderful evenings there once the covid restrictions ease.

A Wonderful Experience

We've eaten at the Leap Inn many times as we live nearby. It has become our favourite for Friday dining as it has a truly fantastic fish 'n' chips special. We brought four guests with us last week and they absolutely loved it. Four of...us had the fish and chips special and two had vegetarian curry. One of our party, 92 years of age, said it was the best fish and chips she ever had. The curry was a big hit, too. The Leap Inn service is always good, and the decor has an authentic Irish feel which is simply charming. Dessert also got rave reviews. They did us proud.More

A Gem!

We've been steady customers of the Leap Inn for several years and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food or the service. The staff is unfailingly friendly and professional. When we have visitors, we always bring them to the Leap Inn, either...for dinner or lunch.
