It was the first time eating inside Teesalonki Sylvia, before we had takeaway Scones with Cream and Jam. The Cream and Jam were served on paper plate covered in clear plastic wrap and was a bit of a mess, it would have been good if they were served in separate containers.
The High Tea was brilliant with savoury tier on bottom including cucumber sandwiches with crust cut off (very posh) and sweet tier on top including a scone and a macaroon.
Last time I had High Tea was Fortnum and Mason in London, the High Tea from Teesalonki Sylvia was just as good.
It cheered me up, as I have been feeling down due to my cancer.

Excellent place for a relaxing tea moment. Good selection of teas. Scones, pies, cakes. Book 1 day in advance if you want a traditional “afternoon tea” - I recommend!
