We arranged a taxi to get El Cabito, Las Galeras after wanting a change from our hotel. The views from this restaurant is unbelievable, the place itself is set on a cliff edge type of thing (you will see what I mean when you get there) the food and drinks were welcoming and price was reasonable. I would recommend anyone... More

Too expensive for what it offers. In 4 year the price went up double for the main rooms and the GM is not capable to rin the place

Went there for lunch and was not disappointed. The view from the terrace is simply unique. The staff friendly and the food we had was fresh and genuine. If you fancy a dip pre or after lunch, there is a ladder (quite scary, but reasonably safe) that bring you on a rock from which you can jump! If you go... More

If you have one meal during your stay in Las Galeras, El Cabito should be it. I would recommend taking a moto or quad out to the restaurant, or allotting time to hike out to the restaurant. We made a reservation, and arrived early to jump off the cliff by the restaurant. The jump is easier than the climb back... More

Great food, setting could not be better. Get here well before sunset to enjoy the end of the day and the setting.

Yes we ordered Paella but it shouldn't take that long. If you get a seat in the sun (not many in the shade) you will bake like a cookie. Great view and nice atmosphere. But service needs to improve.

We stayed 3 nights in Las Galeras and heard that El Cabito is a must go place. We had a car and drove up there half way when we decided to park the car at the beach and walk the other half. Walking up there was fine. Glad I didn't try with the car we had. So if you go... More

This place was by far my favorite place to eat in the Las Galeras area of the Dominican Republic Samana Region. I so enjoyed my first visit that I came back several weeks later to stay the night in the Tree House. The amazing cliff side dining experience is made even more adventurous if you choose to dive off 40+... More

We had a fantastic dinner at sunset and ordered the El Captain fish grilled. Great view, lovely meal! Suggest that you arrange taxi if eating at sunset and not staying on site or adjacent.

This is the second year in a row we have been to the Dominican Republic. We ended up going to El Cabito twice for dinner. What a wonderful backdrop for a perfect dinner. It was just as good as last year. Thress of us had Paella and a vegetable Paella, and one of steak. All of think this place is... More
