This is absolutely the right place to taste San Daniele's typical dishes (ham, smoked trout, tagliolini) and wine from Friuli (Refosco). Good value for money and very gentle staff. Highly recommended!!

An extremely rainy night, this was one of the few restaurants whose menu I could read while sheltered from the deluge. Also, being a Monday, most others were closed. Lovely, cosy atmosphere, 4 other covers at the time, it felt really welcoming. Attentive service, delicious...food, great, and very reasonable, house wine. I had prosciutto, then pasta, then Frico, all very Friulano, and with the wine and a coffee with grappa the bill came to less than €40 (£35). Lots of nice little touches, like little biscuits with your coffee and a free little tartare of vegetables when you order. I liked this place, a lot. As if all that wasn't enough, I had run out of cigarettes and everywhere was shut so the waiter let me have one of his.More

In the center of San Daniele is this charming, small restaurant, serving local prosciutto and other options for lunch and dinner. Although we chose the lovely prosciutto platter, with fresh mozzarella, artichoke, cheese and polenta, along with tagliolini San Daniele, for a light lunch, there...were many other fascinating options! Great food, service, and wines by the glass in multiple varieties. Always special when an owner greets every guest!More

We had a lovely dinner at this restaurant tonight. The decor is charming and the food is outstanding. We had pasta with prosciutto and the local potato and cheese entree. The tiramisu is the best we’ve ever had. Delightful owner. This a place that tourists...usually don’t find so enjoy earring with and like the locals.More

...to Silvia, the creator of this restaurant (and of others before it), on completing a year of producing exquisite food and a warm welcome for all at Centopassi. A year on from our first visit and she and her small team in the kitchen and...front of house are more assured than ever at combining deep professionalism with human warmth and creative dishes. We always look forward to our return.More

We have eaten twice at Centopassi and I unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone looking for classic local food served by a delightful team. The menu includes the local speciality, prosciutto crudo and other favourites such as orzo fagioli, frico and risotto but also more sophisticated...dishes. The buffet provides a great way to taste the real Friuli. Look out also for the cheeses and sweets. The wine is particularly good value and allow space for a grappa which is exceptional. This is now probably the best restaurant in central San Daniele.More

We were just looking for a place to sample the famous local product when we stumbled across this gem. Just opened by Silvia Clochiatti, a local restaurateur, we spent a very enjoyable time in this beautiful new place. In addition to the prosciutto we had...two amazing first courses that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Highly recommended.More
