Best selection of Fish and Chips I've seen in a while. Monkfish medallions were super as were the curry chips (proper spicy curry sauce) and huge crispy rissoles that I demolished cold later as leftovers. You can't beat the atmosphere eating great fish in the...More

Ordered 3 portions of fish and 2 portions of chips. Waited 45 mins in the queue after ordering. Ended up with 8 portions of fish, (2 x 3 and 1 X2 !!!) Great food but far too much.

Brought a couple of first timers to Saltee chipper. They weren't disappointed. Hard to beat sitting outside eating chips from the paper, plenty of salt and vinegar. Mind you, we would have liked more vinegar. Very generous portions. Tho we all had our own, no...More

This Chipper (also a diner) is well worth the trip - we travelled over from St Helens Bay Golf Resort. All of the fish is freshly caught in Kilmore Quay and they have excellent Ice Cream too. Kids all loved it as did Mum &...More

Hello, As Noel G said, I think it it is only open weekends during the winter. The food is great, however Mary Barry's restaurant in Kilmore itself Is worth a try, and as far as I know is open every day
