I have learned to have confidence in Trip Advisor and so we went and had dinner at Angela. The place looks ordinary and it was seemingly very clean. From the quite long menu we chose grilled lamb tenderloin. What a pleasant surprise, it was really...tender and very tasty and far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant offers many different dishes from pizza and kebab to lamb steaks. Kebab and pizza were good and specially kebabmeat was excellent.

Had the lamb file for lunch. Waiter asked how the lamb wants to be cooked, I asked medium, meat was well done. Food was poor for 17€. So was the service aswell. Should not be ranked 2nd in Kouvola..

The menu is somewhat a Mediterranean one and especially the yogurt sauce is really tasty. Many of the dishes have the same bread at the bottom. Pizza was kind of dry and over cooked but chicken sasliki was quite ok. I hear the lamb is...the best choice there so I might give the place one more try.More

Tasty lunch, frindly personnel, clean and nice atmosphere! Fresh salad buffet. I recommend lamb fillet as main course (with carlic potatoes and cream sauce), it was delicious!

Excellent food! We were surprised to find such a great restaurant in this small town. There was a wide range of dishes and all three of us actually found something they not only liked, but loved - even the person who was on a strict...low-carb/salad diet. The chicken with devils sauce and goatcheese is my favourite. Some ethnic foods on the list. Money well spent. Will be back many times.

We went here for a lunch on saturday afternoon while visiting Kouvola. What a nice suprise. My wife had a pizza which was very good and I had a Souvlaki or a scewer of beef. It was actually suprisingly good aswell. Tender meat and medium...minus as ordered too. Not bad at all !More

As we entered in, there was no greetings although there was only few of customers. Food was below standard: lamb was too raw and medium steak never been so well done. When I asked about the steak, they just said that I was wrong. Their..."medium" is prepared like that. Even bread was more juicy than the steak. I left without eating. We had also asked our drinks three times before we got ones. Customers who came much more after us had drinks first. Experience would been better if the customer service would compensate the food. At the end when we paid the check, we said objectively that service and food wasn't so good and we were disappointed. They said nothing to that! No eye contact, no good byes, nothing! We had no table reservation and the place was almost full, still we got the table immediately. The waiter was very friendly even we were slow to decide. The food was not "wau" but it was good. Little disappointed that they didn't have some of...their plates like specialite, and the menu was too long and mixed cuisine.More

Have visited this restaurant several times for lunch. The food was always good. However, the most attractive thing is that one can get cheap lunch offer for a very reasonable price. However, restaurant is usually busy over lunch time so food takes a bit longer...to come. Normally waited about 15 minutes. Thus if time is not a big issue, then I definitely recommend to check this place out!More
