We were on our way to the airport from Grand Baie. Travelling as two couples. We stopped here for coffee as it looked so pretty and inviting. The setting is beautiful. I loved the rustic, beachy theme of shells. The place is in a pretty setting with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. Photographers dream. Ablution was clean but the... More

Amazing view on the sea and the mountains around. It's located far from cities and noise of the road. The food was good and the people were really nice. We were offered some snacks before starting to eat. I advise to choose the chouchou gratin and the bananes flambées!

Though Advanced planning for lunch was organised, service was not efficiently delivered. Very slow management style and very poor organisational skills. Food was served on and off, and group could not have their meals together. No value for money for all meals and a la carte menu.

We were seven adults for lunch on a Sunday. The setting and the ambience are uniquely Mauritian. Service is friendly and attentive. Food is authentic Mauritian cuisine, well-presented and delicious. Unpretentious, good value and highly recommended.

Stopped here for lunch whilst traveling up the coast road. Had a very good light lunch by ordering a variety of their light bites to share. location is fantastic, sat on the waters edge, under bamboo shelters, surrounded by corral and sea shells. The service was excellent and friendly, and there was a small pool there if you just wanted... More

Hello and thank you for your comments. I think there may be some confusion between a restaurant in Pereybere (in the north of the Island near Grand Bay) and La Case Du Pecheur in Bamboo Virieux (located in the South East of Island). La Case Du Pecheur is a guest house and very respectable restaurant, recently awarded the most exotic... More
