Popped in for coffee & a bun on a day trip to Lismore castle gardens. It was so nice we went back for lunch afterwards. They had a vast array of tasty cakes & the coffee was amazing! Lunch was 10/10. The girls working were...also so friendly & kind. Would highly recommend 🙂More

This is a fantastic cafe which I discovered when visiting Lismore. I had an americano and a plum cake which was most delicious. The cafe has an open fireplace which was kept stoked and made the cafe cosy. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hi there, Driving through Lismore yesterday we came across the Summerhouse Café, and , seeing customers at the window table, thought that it might be worth a try .Once inside we were welcomed by a roaring open fire and a friendly greeting from one of...the staff. We ordered from the daily special, and were served a large portion of quiche, chips and salad, really good coffee, followed by homemade apple tart with whipped cream. Service was friendly and efficient and prices reasonable. I certainly will call again.More

We cycled from Youghal bridge along the banks of the Blackwater and stopped in Lismore for tea/coffee and cake. The Summer House was a real find, very warm welcome, good service, really good cakes - carrot, chocolate brownie and my favourite, lemon. Went from there...to Cappoquin Aglish and back to Youghal bridge. Lovely spin beautiful scenery although the road surface is poor in many places, and will definitely be back for more cake. !More
