Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A very pleasant Cafe on the main street in Lismore. Strangely there are not many cafes about for a tourist area but this one more than served the purpose. Good quality food and drinks and more substantial meals. Free WiFi. Service was friendly and prompt....Free parking on the street outside.More

My boyfriend and myself just had an amazing lunch at Lizzies', cajun chicken fillet burger served with chips. Chicken was really soft and flavourful. Staff was very nice to us. Highly recommended 😊

We stopped in here Wednesday morning for coffee, tea and morning treats. The server was helpful and friendly. The price was reasonable and the service was quick. The muffins, cupcake and bakewell tart were nice. The only improvement that could be made was if they...had gluten free snacks of any kind, even pre-packaged (they said they had run out that morning). Otherwise good location and they have a bathroom with room for a changing mat and a nursing chair.More

Stopped off in Lismore on a dull, rainy and pretty miserable day on our way to Waterford. Place was pretty grim with not a lot open. Chanced upon Lizzie Briens and we had a wonderful lunch. Beautiful made mushroom soup with a perfect panini and a...super latte for us both. Service was excellent and great value for money. Lot of locals eati ng here which is always a good sign. Well worth a visit.More

We stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a great lunch. Wonderful ‘ hot mushroom soup with brown bread. Delicious duck spring rolls were unexpected, and the toasted sandwich, fries, and salad were the perfect lunch. Americans - enjoy the drinks chilled, there’s no ice! End...with a varied selection of home made baked desserts or a coffee.More

Good food. Have been here a good few times and always enjoyed the food. Great banter between staff and locals. Very small space but really worth a visit.

Nice place for light meal. We had soup and bangers with mash&onin gravy. All ashy and enough. Service could be bit warmer tho. As tourists we didn't feel quite welcome.

I stopped in for a late lunch and ordered the chicken, cheese and sundried tomato pasta dish which was on special. It was scrumptious. Not knowing that a full mini-pan of delicious brown bread would also be served, I ordered a side salad as an...extra. The whole meal was perfect and the staff were suitably attentive and courteous. The reason I am not giving the full 5 star rating is because the seating is a little basic; I think with food like that they could upgrade the seating because the food is certainly top class, and all for only €17 including sparkling water. Well done Lizzie Briens!More
