We had the platter for two for lunch with a bottle of Greco! Everything was outstanding including the service from these creative, classy guys. The meats were tender and sweet, the accompanying cheeses and fruits perfect in taste and style. Don't miss this one. They are great!

I've been several times in the past in this place, and last time I decided to come back here for dinner with friends. We started with two cutting boards, one classic and one of cheese, excellent for the variety of products, accompanied by sauces with truffles, honey and fig jam for cheeses, bruschetta with spicy sauce, olives and dried tomatoes,... A friend drove us here from Roma and we had the most wonderful lunch! When you walk through the door you will be surprised as you step down into a beautiful little restaurant that is spotlessly clean with outstanding food and service! The house wine was lucious!

The dinner in Alatri was simply amazing. Before this, I had never thought of Alatri as a foodie destination, what a mistake. I appreciate simple products, but I also like discovering something new! In the end, a good carbonara or amatriciana can be made at home... I had straccetti meat slices made to their recipe. It was very good, really... More

It's not often that you visit a restaurant with a large group and come away feeling that the service has been really personal and the food delicious. The owner, Paulo, greeted us all like long lost friends and then proceeded to serve up dish after dish of great antipasti - various hams and other meats, a kind of Italian bubble... More

This restaurant definitely is worth an overseas visit let alone a visit from those local or in Italy. I had a choice to either fly back to Naples which is 40 kilometres distance from where i live or fly to Rome and then have to drive at leat 300kms to get home but my husband and i decided the kms... Their seafood section was great with generous portions. We had a platter of appetizers with four sections, seafood pasta, salmon & prawns then ended up with a dessert of four sections also.

Friendly, easy-going staff, good choices of local food, generous portions, fair prices. Tables are mostly in an underground area; keep this in mind if you don't like rooms without windows. However, the room is spacious and airy: I highly recommend this small restaurant to anyone lucky enough to visit Alatri.

We visited Alatri on our last day in Italy. The old Medieval town moved me to tears - for which I have no explanation. As it was our last day we had our main meal at lunch time and happened on this wonderful, friendly resaturant by pure change. The menu was in Italian only, but did not detract from our... More
