It is probably better place to have a beer than dinner. Their menu is not really ling, but there are finger foods (chicken wings), hamburgers, etc..
There is also quite a large terrace area that is better place to have drinks and food during warm summer time.

it was busy with almost all tables taken - have they even increased the spacing between tables due to covid-19? perhaps that concept does not exist in finland. we did look at the menu although the high prices just reinforce the feeling you often get in finland .. "where else are you going to go" attitude to pricing. we walked out and went somewhere else.

Visited quickly on Saturday day and all the tables were full. Food was good tho, service was very basic but you need to remember that you are in Kalajoki. Can recommend if hungry or thirsty, not the most authentic Finnish food experience but you will get necessary things from here.

So disappointed
On our last night in Kalajoki we decided to go out for dinner instead of cooking in the condo.
We reserved a table ond got there on time, all dressed up and in the mood for a nice family dinner.
We got drinks and starters/kids meals by the sweet waitress. The green sides were not that fresh, but ok. Worse was that the main courses came when we were only halfway through the starters, and then Theo began taking the main course plates away while some of us were still eating.
This ruined our experience and we decided to skip dessert and drinks.
They had us paid and out in less than an hour for seven people, two courses.
(No, the kids did not disturb, they were surprisingly quiet).
By this stressful manner they really ruined the entire restaurant experience.
The food was good, no more, and could easily be enhanced with some fresh greens.

Sandy Kelt has a new summer menu.
We ordered ribs and orange chicken and we thought that it will be average good.
However, both ribs and chicken were absolutely delicious. I had ribs, so tender and well seasoned. Ten points out of ten. Maybe the best ribs ever.
My darling had chicken and it looked good and she said that also was very juicy and tasty.

Nice place to go. Good, friendly and fast service, good food and even live music in the evening. We had an excellent evening in an open atmosphere sitting under the glass roof of the enclosed pavillion.

Can you get any worse made whitefish? 50g piece fried to a dry crumb with nasty soft vegetables. This is a bub, with a terrible noisy terrace not a restaurant to have a dinner.

Very nice place and the atmosphere is very great all the time. So great and a good food, drinks are also very good 😊 all the people there, owners and a customs also: off course 👌 I give it hole 10+ to this place ☀️

Beer: Hanalei, Food: Pork belly for me and Lamb skewers for her. Would eat this allday everyday! The sauce was hands down probably the best sauce ever.

Just "normal" Irish style pub, indoors seat and outside terrace. Relaxed atmosphere as expected, locals and visitors. Whiskey and beer plus music.

Dropped in for a beer. Place has awesome glass terrace. It was cold outside, so this place was perfect place to sit. It’s also dog friendly. Which was a big plus for us. You could sit and be warm with your dog. Service was excellent, stout & irish coffee too. Atmosphere excellent. Ordered some finger food also. Nothing to complain with that either. A really Nice addition to Kalajoki’s restaurants. Will be on our list also Next time we visit Kalajoki. Thank you and cheers 🍻

The place was great and it was the only restaurant that was open that day. Couldn’t give five stars cause we waited our starters prox one hour. Otherwise the food was delicious and service was friendly. I specially recommend the beer & onion soup 😋
