After sitting down to eat at 9.30pm being the only customers seated we proceeded, in very bad Spanish to place our order. A blonde waitress served us initially and was very pleasant . Unfortunately she was quickly replaced by an older brunette waitress who was very rude. We were extremely polite and attempted to order in the native tongue but... More

Good food, nice location, friendly service. Liked the Lasagne. We had Paella and some meats. Good. But as usual in spain, ask how the cook the meat before.

As other reviewers have said, the lunchtime menu here is both amazing quality and incredible value. Great 'local' feel, friendly service, lovely setting (we ate at the bar). This area is known for anchoas - try them here, they are delicious.

We had a very good value menu del dia with a clam and haricot bean soup to start and some baby squids with salad for the main. Can't remember the dessert, but we also had a bottle of rose wine between us and the whole meal came to only €11 each.

Arrived during a break holiday in October and the whole street, which is packed with restaurants, was crowded, so waiting to any restaurant would be needed. We chose La Folía and they set up another table right at the edge. They started to bring food: boquerones en vinagre, croquettes, chopitos, gambas, etc. All tasted good. Service was probably "improvable" as... More

Stumbled about this little gem on accident and had a great time there. Everything I tried was really tasty and the prices were good as well. Make sure to try the potato side dish as well as the bonito steak

Typical Cantabrian restaurant with lots of seafood on the menu. We really enjoyed the pulpo and the navajes (razorblades).
