As previously mentioned on many reviews the landlady and staff here are a very friendly welcoming bunch of people. The pub is a proper country pub, old fashioned decor which some reviews have criticised but we found homely. Our dog Fudge was made a fuss...More

A wonderful warm welcome from the staff at the Wagon and Horses. We were among many who queued for hours to travel south when the M6 was closed due to an accident. We opted to turn into this friendly pub and have a break (4...More

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK, cooked fresh and hot. We booked a family room which was clean but very dated and in need of a freshen up. I thought it was very over priced at £80 for the night but we...More

Delight in the beautiful Cheshire countryside at our welcoming inn. Look no further than the Waggon & Horses for a delightful pub and bed and breakfast in Cheshire. In the tiny village of Eaton lies the picture-postcard Waggon and Horses public house. Be amazed at what our fine English pub has to offer. From fine cask ales, to locally sourced produce we have just what you need. We take great pride in our delicious food and at least 90% of what we serve in our restaurant is entirely home-made. It’s tempting to get stuck at our warm and cosy bar with a real log fire on cold days complemented by the warm welcome of a family-run pub, but if you look that little bit further you’ll see our beautiful caravan park. Not only that, we also offer clay pigeon shooting. Ideal for any day out, it is a great way to spend the day. The Cottage is a beautifully converted 18th Century barn adjacent to the pub. It houses six well-appointed en-suite bedrooms, Each room is individually decorated
