4 of us had a wonderful meal at the Bistro last night. We have been many times, usually great , but not always, I suppose like any restaurant. However, last night was really good. The food for all 4 of us was fantastic, the cod...was excellent, octopus delicious, as was the flank steak. the whole evening was made even better because of the service from our male server Benoit (I believe). He was helpful, friendly, explained all the options, and generally made the evening even better, with attentive but not overly fussy service, a sense of humour but discreet and professional. What a difference great staff makes! Not to take anything away from the cooks who were firing on all cylinders last night!More

This is a magnificent place for French bistro food. Long leisurely lunch Beer, wine and cider beautiful The food was so darn good as was desert. Don’t miss out Service from Danny was excellent

Outstanding meal this week. Great service and outstanding wine selection. The entrees were piping hot and perfectly cooked. The venison was outstanding a really delicacy.

We had a 4 service meal. It was simply delicious and the sommelier and waiter were friendly and helpful.

Such a positive dining experience! We had the beet/goat cheese appetizer to share, the cauliflower risotto and the fish/catch of the day topped with a chocolate dessert pudding. It was delicious; very tasty, service was friendly and just a great overall experience. The parking lot...is quite busy, but we managed to find a parking spot. The only vegetarian options were the soup, the beet/goat cheese salad and the cauliflower rissotto. There were no vegan options; which is the only reason i've given it 4 rather than 5 stars! My partner did love the fish dish; saying it was the best fish he'd had in a LONG time and that it was cooked perfectly.More

Amazing French Cuisine Diner! We were a party of four (2 adults; 2 kids: one 9 and one 11) on a busy Saturday evening. Having read the great reviews, we reserved the restaurant 2 weeks in advance. Well worth it! We were directed to our...table precisely on time. Our waitress was courteous and very pleasant. Great sommelier advice upon sitting. Service was timely. They had a kids menu, excellent price and choice for young kids. I had the cauliflower risotto and it was absolutely the best risotto I’ve ever had. My husband had the “poison du jour” which was white fish from Nova Scotia. The sauce and other accompaniments were to perfection. Desert (lemon tarte) was exquisite. In Covid times, we must add that attention to PPE was perfection. All staff wearing both mask AND visor. Staff washing their hands between clients. Staff cleaning (wiping) each menu before passing to next client. Tables truly well spaced. Food and attention to detail to both food and health guidelines was absolutely fantastic. Great dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!More

The restaurant atmosphere is pleasant and clean. Our server was friendly and provided excellent service. While the meal was good, we felt it was somewhat over priced. Handy location if staying in the hotel though.

While staying at the hotel, we chose to have dinner at the on site restaurant. It came recommended and it was not a disappointment. Good food served by attentive staff made for an enjoyable meal.

we had a family event and we were more then Surprise with this wonderful gem of a restaurent.. the service was so amazing and friendly the sommelier gave us great advice and the food was in the best presentation ,, each plate was a chef...D oeuvre . I eat in top rest all around the world and I would definitely recommend this great place .,,. the burger pup has well with great atmosphere for a drink before dinner was great the owner is a on hand operati=or and its nice to chat with the owner./. the decor make you feel like you fo back in time.. it was great has the clock on the wall always said 5 10 pm so I was never late. :)))))). thank you or waiter who gave us the best service and CHAPEAU to la Cuisine with the amazing culinary expense we had ..thnak you and GReat Job !!More
