Convenient location beside the main St. Austell - Truro road plus a car park and garden dropping down towards the river make this an ideal stop for refreshment. However, the location is perhaps let down by the food which is very basic pub grub.More

Portions are large ( in fact on 2nd visit took a smaller option) You don't return to the same place if you had any doubts.

Excellent food in a friendly and homely pub. Beautiful fish and chips followed by apple crumble and clotted cream like my Mum used to make. We really enjoyed our meal. Friendly staff who were very attentive.
