We went here twice during our 5 day stay. The food and service were very good. The tables by the window provided a great view of the bay.

Its new, clean, food is great, service is good, and view is amazing... Whether you're grabbing a quick bite while watching a sporting event, or going for a sit down meal... Everything I've ordered to date has always been great! Not a place you go for a nice glass of wine, but they have a decent selection of beer and... More

This was the best seafood chowder I've ever eaten. We shared appetizers, and they were good too. Service was very friendly.

I recently visited the Grasshopper Pub with my girl and we had a great experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious! I had the butter chicken. The view of the harbour and the surrounding mountains was spectacular!

The view is fantastic . Great pub, with good food. It was also the only pub in the area that was open. Great staff.

The contrast between the old Grasshopper and the new one is amazing. The new Grasshopper is bright and open and the food is delicious. They have maximized the view of Pender Harbour and the service is also great!

The Grasshopper Pub is terrific! With a more quiet restaurant side and the larger pub side, the location offers a terrific view down onto Garden Bay. In the summer the patio is the best place to sit but inside is much larger. Good beer on taps and a terrific pub chef. I can't get enough of the halibut curry. The... More

Upon entering the restaurant the first thing you notice is a feeling of warmth and relaxation surrounding you. The walls are wooden , the benches are huge. The view is amazing , overlooking ocean and mountains. You can eat inside or sit on the deck and enjoy the fresh air as you eat. The menu offers world class fine dining... More

The pub is set above the road and has a great view out into Pender Harbour from most of its seats. The lunch menu has lots of options with Halibut and chips being a worthwhile daily special. Our vegetarian guest found choices to her taste also. A good place to stop if passing through to Powell River or the Skokumchuk... More

We stopped in for dinner after the jazz festival. All of the staff are terrific - friendly and so helpful. Unfortunately the chef so over salted the Indian chicken dish that my tongue was burnt. The wait staff tried to bring another dish, but I couldn't taste anything after the chicken salt lick. To be fair, others enjoyed their choices... More
