Large local Thai restaurant means "minced spicy duck" from the name of restaurant. Very popular among both local people and tourist. The food taste good. I did not know if the food are served slow after order or not because it was arranged earlier, anyway...I find the staff is friendly and gave a good services. We came together 15 people and it was a treat so I had no idea how much does it cost. But I bet it would be reasonable price. We order "Kang Pa Lookchin Plakrai"- Kind of spicy Tomyum- with fish meat ball, deep fried sheet fish which is local fish. Fish cake, yum vegetable salad with shrimp, sun-dried meat deep fried, and of course Lap Ped. - the dish with the same name of restaurant...judge them by the picture!More

This is a very popular and also quite crowded restaurant on the road to takhli that specializes in duck based fare. Nice if you can sit outside overlooking the ( man-made ) lake. Fast service, good prices. Stick to their core offers.

Extensive menu if your adventurous, even chicken cashew for people like me. Situated out of town on busy main road. But sat well back so you are not bothered.

It was my second visit to this perennial favourite in Chainat and what a different place it was. With a nice air-con section, we expected that service would have improved but no, most waiters were dek-wans, bumping into our table without saying sorry. Thankfully the...food was still tasty (very spicy) and the price (60 baht for lap ped) hadn’t increased much.More

This Isan (Northeastern Thai) eatery is so popular that residents of neighbouring provinces drive here for a very satisfying dinner that costs less than 200 baht per person. Among its specialties are (what else?) spicy minced duck salad (ลาบเป็ด), spicy crispy catfish salad (ลาบปลาดุกกรอบ), papaya...salad with blue crab (ส้มตำปูม้า), and dry red curry with roasted duck (แกงเผ็ดเป็ดย่างแห้ง), all appropriately spicy. Westerners should be prepared to sweat a lot and thank the Buddha for the air-conditioned space (or cool breeze when seated outside). If this garden restaurant isn't awarded the "Clean Food, Good Taste" logo, none in Chai Nat should.More
