Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

As I have frequented this restaurant often since it opened I have sampled almost everything they offer, both eating in house and takeaway. The atmosphere is comfortable and the staff are helpful and friendly. The ingredients used are of high quality and much of the...salads and vegetables are grown by the owner. Lovely breakfast selection and lunch menu varies by the day. Good selection of fresh salads, made in house. The scones and sausage rolls are to die for. Worth taking some home for later.More

Gourmet green is the best kept secret in Abbeyfeale. I visited for the first time today with 2 friends. We were bowled over with the standard of food, friendly efficient staff and lovely decor. EVERYTHING is home made....and delicious. We had a taste of all...the salads. Home made bread was out of this world. Wholesome food in very generous portions. Finished off with yummy lemon meringue pie. Staff were a delight to watch.... especially the main lady who kept a keen eye on everything. Any fault????NO Will I be back to visit. Yes absolutely ASAP.....WELL DONE GOURMET GREENMore

This place was a welcome break from pub food. Everything was fresh, the soda bread was outstanding, and the servers were attentive and friendly. It was definitely worth a stop!

Stopped here yesterday passing through Abbeyfeale. Planned on getting something to take away but very nice relaxed atmosphere and staff friendly so I decided to sit down for lunch. I had the quiche and salad with a coffee. Well priced but the food was as...nice and fresh as I have had anywhere. So nice I ordered take away for later on in the evening. This place is a great addition to Abbeyfeale town.More

I've had two wonderful meals at Gourmet Green, and I hope to have many more soon! It's so warm and cosy and truly fantastic that we have a place to relax and and have healthy, delicious food in Abbeyfeale! The staff are so friendly and...attentive, and there's fresh baked bread and scons, I personally had a chicken soup and some crusty bread which I thoroughly enjoyed, and a wrap another time, which was bursting with flavour. Abbeyfeale, you're one lucky town!More

Took the kids here as we were passing through. Good example of simple food done really well. I went for the pulled pork roll with mixed salad, all home made and great quality
